The much-awaited GATE 2025 results have been officially announced by IIT Roorkee today, March 19, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) can now access their results on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
The GATE 2025 examination, conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, saw participation from thousands of aspirants across the country. The results include the candidates’ scores, All India Rank (AIR), and qualifying status. The final answer key and cut-off marks for each subject have also been released alongside the results.
Steps to Check Your GATE 2025 Result:
- Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Log in using your enrollment ID and password.
- Enter the captcha code and submit.
- View and download your scorecard for future reference.
Qualified candidates can download their scorecards free of cost from March 28 to May 31, 2025. After this period, a fee of ₹500 will be charged for each scorecard request. Note that no scorecards will be issued after January 1, 2026.
The GATE score is a gateway to postgraduate programs at premier institutions like IITs and IISc, as well as recruitment opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This year’s exam covered 30 subjects, with a mix of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
